Directions to Chaeli Cottage:
M3 – Blue Route
From Town -Take the Constantia Road turn off. The road loops around to the left and comes to a T junction at Constantia Road. Turn right, stay in
the right hand lane, go straight through the traffic lights (do not go up the hill to the left) and continue to the Stop street. Go across the
stop street continue to the traffic circle with the Shell garage straight ahead of you. Follow the road to the right of the Shell service
station. You are now in Gabriel Road. Continue along Gabriel road to the traffic lights at the Main Road; continue straight across the
traffic lights into Southfield Road. Culm road is the first road to the left, opposite Annette Laing. Chaeli Cottage is the first cottage on
the left and is clearly signposted with Chaeli Cottage and number 18.
From Lakeside -
Similarly take the Constantia Road turnoff which is just past the Constantia sports fields. Continue to the traffic lights and turn right.
Continue under the bridge staying in the right hand lane, go straight through the traffic lights (do not go up the hill to the left) and
continue to the Stop street. Go across the stop street continue to the traffic circle with the Shell garage straight ahead of you. Follow
the road to the right of the Shell service station. You are now in Gabriel Road. Continue along Gabriel road to the traffic lights at the
Main Road; continue straight across the traffic lights into Southfield Road. Culm road is the first road to the left, opposite Annette
Laing. Chaeli Cottage is the first cottage on the left and is clearly signposted with Chaeli Cottage and number 18.
M5
From the N2 -Proceeding along the M5 (Prince George Drive) look for the Ottery turnoff. Don't take it, cross over the bridge and you will notice
Royal Cape Golf Course on your left hand side. Take the next turn off to the right which is approximately 500m further along and just
before the next bridge. The name of the road is Dick Burton Street. Continue along Dick Burton all the way to the end. It has a lot of
stop streets. At the t junction turn right into Victoria Road. Continue to the traffic lights at the end of Victoria Rd and turn right into
Main Road, Plumstead. Stay in the right hand lane and turn right at the next set of traffic lights into Southfield Road. Culm road is the
first road to the left, opposite Annette Laing. Chaeli Cottage is the first cottage on the left and is clearly signposted with Chaeli
Cottage and number 18.
Plumstead Station
Exit the station on the Main Road side. As you exit the station turn right, walk a hundred meters or so and take the first road to the left,
Southfield Rd. Approximately 60/70 meters up Southfield Road on the right hand side opposite Annette Laing is Culm Road. Chaeli
Cottage is the first cottage on the left and is clearly signposted with Chaeli Cottage and number 18. It is not far at all.
